Reverse BUSking – A set of five mini-performance pieces created to be performed on the IU Campus Buses. Instead of passing around a hat for donations, the bus audience will be given free tickets to the April 19 performance of The Flute on its Feet. Vignettes of music, haiku, theater and dance is timed to the bus route, so that it can be seen in its entirety in the space of one stop. All five will be performed in succession, giving longer distance riders an extended performance experience. Poetry will be drawn from the haiku of Japanese master poet Basho.
